After 30 years as a school counselor, Kathy decided to retire and transition to the pre-employment screening world by purchasing BRI in 2013. She is a member of the Professional Background Screening Association, which supports keeping practices up-to-date, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, quick results, and best practices. Kathy holds an Advanced FCRA certification, requiring strict compliance and security measures. Her customer service, relationship, organizational, and communication skills lend themselves well to being one of the few “local” western slope’s background screeners, although she serves all 50 states.
Kathy loves the outdoors, water sports, dancing, cooking, gardening, and travel when possible. Volunteer work and serving on the Community Corrections Board of Directors for 18 years helps her stay connected outside of her passion for assisting employers in finding the “right” employee for the job.
